A special place for little dogs
Small dogs have some unique needs and play styles that their bigger friends don’t necessarily share. That’s why we’re delighted to offer a specialized daycare experience at our location on 6th Street in San Francisco, just for dogs under 20lbs.
Itty Bitty Doggy City is specially created for small dogs from adolescents all the way up to seniors, and dedicated to creating a positive and fun environment that also supports your training goals. It’s a perfect way to continue your puppy’s time with us after they graduate from prep school!
We are more than a standard daycare — our counselors are also trainers, and our staff-to-dog ratios are always low so that we can provide your dog with individualized attention, engaging opportunities to practice basic training cues, and closely supervised and well-matched playgroups. We’re even able to work on some behavior issues like noise sensitivity or reactivity to novel objects like skateboards.
Is my dog a good fit?
If your dog is:
- Older than 18 weeks (we have a different program for puppies!)
- Able to get on well with other dogs
- Up to date on their vaccinations
- Not currently suffering from an infectious disease or a serious physical injury that might prevent them from having fun with others

How to sign up
Fill out the form on this page! If you have any questions or problems with submitting your information, let us know by emailing info@sfpuppyprep.com.
Before your first day, you’ll need to share proof of the following vaccinations: DHPP, Rabies, Bordetella. Then on your first day, you’ll just bring your dog and a flat collar or harness for them to wear. We supply all the treats and toys!
How it works
- No maximum age — seniors are welcome too!
- Weight limit: 20lbs, no breed restrictions
- Opening hours — Same as our puppy daycare: 7:30am – 4:30pm
- Pricing: Single day $60, 10-pack $500, 20-pack $900. Opening special: 10 pack for $450 — that’s one free day!
- All packages purchased expire in 60 days.
